The next film that I watched was You Are the Film, a Japanese movie.

Maybe you remember or maybe you have heard of the movie Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes.

Yes.

A Japanese movie that played at the festival a few years ago that we watched there that we liked a lot.

And then a character leaves the theater and has some interactions with other characters where when the other characters counterpart is still at the cinema watching that so when the character comes back to the cinema the other person can tell them what they what they learned about other characters for example and and so they interact with each other's story and then at some point these movies become like like proper genre movies one becomes a gangster movie one becomes a science fiction movie and then towards the end they kind of come together and it's what was it under 80 minutes or maybe even under 70 like 68 minutes maybe maybe that was the run time I think that's exactly

yeah it's exactly on IMDb an hour

and 8 minutes yeah yeah okay so i remember correctly uh and and for that type of movie where it's very low budget and it mostly hinges on this weird um conceit this this weird idea not so much necessarily on the characters and the story although those are fun as well i think that's a perfect runtime it's just in and out uh and and very very entertaining and just just cleverly cleverly made just just as beyond the infinite two minutes was where you These people, they have an idea, they execute that, and it's just entertaining to watch this idea fold out and how they are able to, with more or less no means, make an interesting movie that you wouldn't get in a mainstream big movie because it's not for a broad audience necessarily.

But if you love these little indie things, quirky and interesting and different just from other movies, I would definitely recommend that one.
