This was almost as hard as when we were trying to decide between Demonnia and Beyond Darkness, but ultimately, I think I might go for Repossessed.

So an Italian producer named Joe D'Amato basically made three unofficial Evil Dead movies in the interim between Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness.

There's La Casa 3. also known as Ghost House, La Casa 4, also known as Witchery, and La Casa 5, also known as Beyond Darkness.

And ironically, Army of Darkness, not a part of the La Casa franchise, was not labeled La Casa when it went to Italy.

They're just like, no, that doesn't count.

It's also halfway between the birthdays of Italian power couple Claudio Fragasso, who was born on October 2nd, and Rosella Drudi, born on October 19th.

So tonight we'll be discussing what they consider their masterpiece, Beyond Darkness.

Beyond Darkness is directed and co-written by Claudio Fragasso, AKA Drake Floyd, AKA Clyde Anderson, AKA Oliver Lafaye, AKA Claudio Savoncero.

You might know Fragasso from Zombie 3 and 4, at least half of Zombie 3.
