I know you were still kicking too.

Yeah, I'm not much older than you, I don't think.

Gosh, four decades ago, I was in college, I think maybe, or maybe high school.

I can't count that far back.

But, you know, this road race here in Greenwood was started, the inspiration for the name Greenwood, was for the original 300 oaks that were planted on our beautiful Grand Boulevard here in the heart of Greenwood.

And it's, you know, it stood the test of time.

It's a favorite local tradition, and we have runners that come from all over the state to participate in it.

Plan our whole weekend there in Greenwood for us, Beth.

Now, did you, so through elementary school, was there like, was there one or two best friends that you had and then you stayed friends with them into high school? Or did you find those girlfriends in high school? Or did you not ever have like that one solid girlfriend?

So I had a friend, I had a couple of friends, but we really, I hate to say it like this, but I'm just going to be honest.

I had one really good friend and at one point she lived right beside my grandparents and then she ended up moving because her dad and her stepmom got a divorce.

So they moved.

And that's why whenever I said I had to go Miles and miles on my bike just to say, hey, and get a drink of water and go back home.

Yeah, that was her.

But she used to live like two doors down from me.
