Best Medicine

All right, so Fox coming out, starting next week on Monday, September 21st, Celebrity Name That Tune, Season 6, and Celebrity Weakest Link, Season 2.

Those are at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Then on Tuesday, the 22nd, Best Medicine comes back for Season 2 at 8 p.m., followed by Doc.

Season three at 9 p.m. On Wednesday, you got more game shows.

The Floor, season six at 8 p.m. and 99 to Beat.

Yeah, so I watch Doc.

I enjoy it, and I will definitely watch it again.

Best Medicine, the ads I've seen for it so far, look like it's possible that I will watch it.

I'll just wait to see what some of the reviews are.

So I don't know what else to really say about that.

I don't have a recipe really for this week, but we've been watching a new... series on Netflix.

It's a remake of a British series, and I'm sure many of you have heard, called Doc Martin.

This is the American version of Doc Martin called Best Medicine, with an actor named John Charles.

The actor plays Martin Best, who was once a very successful surgeon.

was like, I think the timeline was like 40-something years ago, and I was like, that lines up.

I have to admit, I'm watching a network show that's on Netflix right now, and I don't hate it.

It's embarrassing.

Okay.

So, like, if there's an issue, like, if he's being held hostage, right, he doesn't get killed or something, because how are they going to make more? Since you have seen all of Best Medicine, we now have three receptionists in Doc Martin, and you've got Elaine in Best Medicine.

So, can you see how they might have made Elaine in Best Medicine something of a composite of the three of these people? Yeah.

Definitely, because the Elaine in Doc Martin just really was...

I didn't see redeeming qualities.

And in the Elaine in Best Medicine, there's some.

Every once in a while, I got tired of the constant taping and saying things for her fans and trying to make something out of nothing so she could put it in a video and all that, but...

There was definitely some compassion towards the doctor when she discovered the problem with the blood and she had some capability there.

Yeah.

And I don't know if you ever, hopefully you have not because you were an unspoiled best medicine person last season.

My little segue in between the unspoiled and the spoiled, I always said, this is your final warning.

And I basically took it from that episode as a little inside joke.
