Bert Prentice

I mean, it was a spot show, and AWA did a bunch of them, but May 3rd of 91, I don't Part of me wants to think that he may have just run this on his own, Christopher Love, I mean, and just used the AWA name.

You know why I remember this card vividly besides being there? The next morning, I got a call from Wahoo at the AWA office, and Wahoo said, For whatever God knows why reason, and I had known the guy for years, Bert Prentice, Christopher Love, who says, Chris Love was saying that you were running around last night giving everybody the finishes and exposing the business.

And I have no idea why he said that.

I was shooting pictures that night.

Okay.

Anyway, that's old Bert Prentice, Christopher Love.

And we apologize for the guy in the upper left, ladies and gentlemen.

Obviously, we should have Photoshopped that one out.

... because they gel so [laughs] much better with him, it's not even funny.

Um, like, uh, you know, we, we both quite loved Bert Prentice back in the Memphis days, and, uh, here his, uh, expressiveness is, is very infectious.

Like, Leilani Kai especially just, like, really comes out of her shell and delivers some incredible hammy promos.

Um, but then, like the-

He can't believe this.

And so there begins to be this tension between these two heel teams.

And, and, and by the way, like, they, they are just so, so, like, on the nose about Gaybert Prentice being gay.

Like, uh, fucking Jim Cornette will be like, "He, he lives out in San Francisco, and he has all the Liberace records.
