FIVP has worked with Bernard, particularly in those former Congress days, but with his new role as director of income generation, Bernard told me about the much heralded new Lumos CPD offering from BSAVA.

What we're trying to do is respond to the sort of changing needs of the profession.

So I, I, I think the reason why we moved away from Congress is because there's a new appetite for different type of, of CPD.

And so, so what we've developed is a, a new sort of on-demand, sort of modular-type bite-size CPD courses for vets and nurses where they can sort of go through specific topics doing modules.

And as they complete six or seven modules, depending on the course, then they get their, uh, recognition or some, some reward or, uh, awards for it.

So, so what we're trying to do is really make something that is fit for purpose for, for the changing professional needs.

So it's on demand.

Has BSAVA taken into account the opinions and views of young veterinary minds, such as we're seeing here today, in terms of what they want from CPD going down the line, and the access to it, and the cost and availability and this kind of thing?
