Bernard Allison

And of course, as is the fashion around here, I've pulled together at least a couple of sets of the new music that have been connecting my finiculees with my finiculars this week.

with tracks from Keb Moe, Jennifer McNess, Joven Webb, Jason Ritchie and Bad Kinds, Bernard Allison, Laura Chavez and many more.

And to put it all in perspective, here's Sue Foley with a song from her soon-to-be-released new album, Alone Together.

Sean Bindley's my name, and this is Blues With A Feelin'.

That's Lazy Lester.

Before that, ya-ya, and I'm gonna miss you like the devil.

Still to come, more from Lazy and this wonderful band, and then more of the new releases that have been locking my core this week, including the Bone Shakers, the new single from a young man known as Brother Deesh, Laura Chavez, and the one and only Bernard Allison.

This is Blues With A Feeling.

And my rhythm section is responsible for that.

That's Craig Ponish, who used to play with Bernard Allison and Brian Lee.

And T.T. was Charlie Muckley's bass player for 68 to 72, I think.

He's on the R. Hooley record.

And it was a curious thing because we found ourselves, from making these records from very much an outsider point of view, we were actually in the charts next to the Bee Gees and just above ABBA, all people that we loved, or I loved certainly as a songwriter.

Couldn't say better than Barry Gibb or a- Bernie Allison for trying to write a great song, you know, just as you wouldn't dismiss, you would never deny liking Burt Bacharach, or I certainly never did, or, or Carole King.

But I also like the current records.

I-- You know, some of those people became my friends.

Welcome everybody to Tom podcast presents.

I got the blues number three on Mixcloud We're gonna get this thing kicked off with a number by Bernard Allison Just my guitar and me.

Here we go

And a new mess of boogie tunes Say all my friends You be having a natural ball I'm lonely, can't you see?

So yes, that's ahead of us in this week's show.

And of course, in addition to that, I've put together a couple of sets of the outstanding new releases that have been biting their respective thumbs at me this week, including songs by, but not limited to, Jennifer McNess, Keb Moe, Laura Chavez, Bernard Allison, Jason Ritchie and Bad Kind, and much more.

And to kick off this week's show...

Here's Sue Foley putting it all in perspective on her soon-to-be-released new record, Alone Together, on Blues With A Feelin'.
