Berlin Radio Choir

This is episode 35.

And on today's show, I'm delighted to welcome Simon Halsey CBE, one of Britain's leading choral conductors and a central figure in the work of ensembles, including the Rundfunkchor Berlin, the CBSO Choruses, and the London Symphony Chorus.

Simon is now artistic advisor and choral director of the Oslo Philharmonic and has spent decades connecting professional, youth, and community singing with the orchestral world.

In this episode, we'll explore how to build a responsive symphonic chorus, rehearse across cultures and experience levels, and make high standards work alongside genuine participation.
