Yeah, one thing Derek and I had talked about was kind of one of our hopes was he might be able to slot in with Berkley Catton, who Shane Wright played pretty well this whole first part of the season with, because there is so many opportunities where Berkley Catton would make amazing moves and amazing plays, set up the perfect pass to Shane, and it just wouldn't get finished.

So we're hoping that if he is on that line and he gets...

Berkeley cat and doing all these fancy moves and getting them set up just to hammer a shot home that something can click there today in practice.

So I think this is a deal that's just going to work out really well for both sides.

Yeah, honestly, I do think that there's a very good chance Matthew Wood just immediately takes that spot that Shane Wright was in and starts playing with Berkley Catton.

I don't know if Canton was being the center there or if he was the winger.

I think they had tried them at both at certain times, but I could definitely see something there being really good for Seattle.

Yes, and I mean, there's certainly some timing questions that I have around this that we can talk about in a little bit, but let's just talk about this kind of one-for-one trade.

Obviously, Shane Wright this year has been playing with Berkley Catton on that third line, the kid line, so to speak, Capococco being the other person on that line.

And one of the things that I feel like wasn't being talked about a ton RJ.

And it was something that I was, I'd been paying attention to and was going to bring up at some point on the podcast is for all of the success that that third line has been having, right? Berkeley Caton, you know, one point off the team lead in points.

So a seven point difference.

That's not just, you know, oh, Shane has some bad luck there or things like that.

Whether you're looking at the analytics or you look at just the on-ice product and you're using the eye test, Berkley Catton has been the guy driving things for that line.

Capo Caco has been a big helper in all of that, helping make space for him, being in the right positions for him, net front, things of that nature, helping set him up and break him out of the defensive zone, things like that.

Physical, natural winger.

Should play with Berkley Catton.

I'm kind of excited to see what that looks like.

They also came out with their new, what are they called? The Remix uniforms.

But you put his size and his shot next to Berkley Catton's playmaking.

has he earned that bump? Berkley Catton has started to earn, he still makes some mistakes, but he's starting to earn that bump.

Matty Beneers, I believe, started on a second, third line role, and then he, you know, gradually worked his way up the lineup.

So Al, I want to get your thoughts too, but I think for me, that's where that big caveat for Shane Wright comes in.

I talked with some folks in similar fashion to Everett where you got your information from to the returns from what we've heard on Matthew Wood.

Major league shot, high IQ, but from what we need as far as a player like him, maybe a change of scenery does you good.

And based on what Berkley Catton is doing here to produce, maybe it opens the door a lot more for him for production because with this Kraken roster in similar vein to what they're trying to do and turn over this thing to younger players, it reminds me of the Mackie Samaskevich deal where It is not a trade based on resume.

It's a trade based on potential.

Yeah, other than those four guys, like, you know, Berkley Catton's been good in Seattle this year.

Cole Hutton, Cole Hudson's obviously been great.

There's Parekh obviously there.
