Bergen Catholic High School

So I was always, I was born with the four seasons, the snowy winters, and those horrible, horrible Januaries.

When I had to wake up at 5.30 in the morning to go to Bergen Catholic, four degrees outside, I was like, oh, horrible.

You know, it is – I'm not going to lie.

It sounds petty, but Pitsknife Husker, Mike Loxley getting fired after losing to us, that is something that I put as a win in the season.

Some high school offensive line coaches.

Okay, Bergen Catholic.

Let's go.

I'm like, here's my...

Um, I agree with all the commentary you guys have had on this.

I think, you know, if I had to grade the announcement, you know, like my Catholic teacher in high school at Bergen Catholic in New Jersey years ago, I would probably say that it was probably a B plus, you know, I mean, again, it's hard for me to assess a lot of this until I actually get the hardware like you, Marco, and like you, Francis, until you play with it until you have the, um, experience with it.

And I'm looking for a lot of this smart home technology to come together that you don't have to build scenes for, that you don't have to say, well, I want the lights to go on at this time and go off at that time, or I want you to make a cup of coffee for me at 8 o'clock in the morning.

I want this technology to start using AI to understand my past behavior and build high probability models around, well, here's how I believe the way you live.

I don't.

My biggest hope is that Jordan Thomas, freshman, Bergen Catholic, top 100 player, I think is a five-star athlete, big physical.

I hope that he ascends quickly.

That's all I can say about

And then we had, we brought in Russell Pascal, who you may see down at Southern, but he was really our upper weights coach.

We stole him from North Bergen, Bergen Catholic actually.

He came down and he was with us for my whole seven years that I was there.

So that was the staff and they were just phenomenal coaches and wrestlers and athletes and just people to be around.

Big shoes to fill.

I'm sure Dean had his shoes to fill as well.

So Brick Memorial, they were, you know, people now think about, you know, Del Barton and Bergen Catholics and the North Jersey nonpublics.

And even around the shore now, it's, you know, Howe, Southern.

Mm-hmm

Gabe, I constantly hear Bergen Catholic, St. Joe's, Paramus Catholic, Don Bosco, I consistently hear they're all going to Ohio State.

Um, they're all going to O-

Shoot, we just saw it tonight.

Yeah, Chuoto, I'm not gonna get into the skill set part of it and why I think he should be a four-star, 'cause I, I think he's checking every box to be a four-star prospect at this point.

Paramus Catholic played Bergen Catholic over the weekend.

Bergen Catholic entered as New Jersey's number one team.

I don't think many people gave Paramus Catholic a chance in that one.

Uh, I, I'm not sure I even gave them much of a chance in that one, 'cause Bergen Catholic was rolling.

They were coming off a win over Don Bosco.

And Odo answered by doing probably his best performance of his junior year, 28 carries, 227 yards, three touchdowns.

He's gonna get to 1,000.
