Bentonville West High School

Definitely a sloppy beginning.

Bentonville West has traveled pretty well.

You can see the fans in the opposite section here tonight, Brian, are doing a good job of already just trying to generate some warmth.

You see the band has traveled well.

He was about to...

He was thinking house call if he could've stayed on his feet and got underneath that one.

But they, uh, they made up the ground with a, uh, Bentonville West got, I think, an offsides penalty there, or an encroachment or something.

They moved the ball back to regain their five yards, but they still gotta punt.

Is that right?

... for Harbor and Bentonville West.

Yeah, we're fired up.

6-0 BV West, 4-2 Harbor.

It's, it's, it's a lot.

Yeah.

And so, uh, I thought Bentonville West was gonna end it last year, and then, uh, in the, I think the first week, uh, they ended up pull- uh, Greenwood held on at the end to keep the record going.

But, uh, I, I think the record stays intact this week as Greenwood gets the win.

We got high school football coming up, too.

Brian Pratt, the head coach at Bentonville West, the 6 and 0 Bentonville West Wolverines.

6 and 0 for BVW-WW, right? Two dubs in that.

Talk about B dubs.

Bentonville West Wolverines.

BVWW.

Say that 10 times fast.

better. You're facing another young quarterback this weekend in Jared Curtis.

We're down to the final four, yeah, of the year in terms of the high school football.

Bentonville West at Harbor, and what a game coming up on Friday night.

It should be a really good one.

So that's where we're at there, too.

How awesome is that, that we get to go to Harbor.

Let's pull that up.

On Friday night, Bentonville West at Harbor.

We'll call it the Miss Megan Bowl on Friday, and BV West puts a 6-0 season record on the line at Harbor, who is having a bounce-back year.

We'll see.

Next week, Bentonville West at Harbor.

Friday Night Lights, baby.

They just keep you going.

That'll be fantastic.

I can't wait for that.

Harbor and Bentonville West.

And then Battle of the Dogs next weekend with Springdale and Fayetteville getting together.

Now we charge down the stretch here tonight.

Next week, Bentonville West at Harbor.

This should be a great game.

Should be.

Well, that's the gist of it here in a hurry, uh, from the weekend that was in the world of high school football.

Bentonville West 35-9 over Springdale.

I'm still missing one or two, aren't I? I know I am, but that's okay.

You know what? Sometimes it just happens like that.

Uh, who's gonna get there? Shiloh, Conway, North Little Rock's in the conversation.

I don't think Bentonville's done by any means.

Bentonville West is still undefeated.

Uh, w- I think we finally got a chance to see somebody other than Bentonville Bryant playing for a 7A title, and that's good for football in our state.
