Benny the Butcher

Mm-hmm

... and, and, and Benny The Butcher.

That's, like, a favorite verse to me personally.

Another favorite verse to me personally is my first verse on the Genesis, which is the title track of the Genesis album.

What a lineup.

They got TooTooJees, Benny The Butcher, SlimeLife Shouty.

Bro, this is an insane lineup.

But here's the thing.

I know, but it's, it's different now because this is now your major label debut.

Remember how long, how many years they used to talk about the Benny the Butcher-

Butcher-And he had this-

But y- you know what it could be

Clasmer and then jazz clarinet.

Benny the Butcher from the Griselda crew out of Buffalo, New York is one of the fiercest bar spitters on the planet.

Oh my God, if you don't know Griselda, go listen to them.

Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, and West Side Gun just...

You know, inheritors of Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, Gangstar, like just bar spitting and great dusty beats.

And Benny the Butcher is the finest rapper among them.

All coke rap, like just coke dealing and whatever.

But he's fantastic.

Whatever I say, let's go.

Benny the Butcher, man.

What's the deal,

dog? I don't know how you follow that one up.

Like Conway the Machine is a artist from the, you know, he got his own company Drumwork now, but he's a part of the Griselda family and he's, he's incredible to me.

You know what I'm saying? Um, you know, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher, you know, J.

Cole.

C- Rock Marciano was another incredible ar- artist to me and, you know, he, he, he kinda fathered that sound.

I was like, yo, these dudes are dope.

Who's your favorite member? My favorite member is honestly Conway, but Benny is slightly second.

Benny the Butcher, of course.

But I fuck with Conway.

I think he spits the best out of all of them.
