So I, I think that they want them to think about it more, but I think ultimately, so long as Randy Clarke's stance remains that this is not feasible, I have a hard time imagining it happening.

And so then he's offering up, "Well, the Gold Line's your alternative." And that would certainly check a lot of boxes for people like Lewis George, who have been very vocal about their desire to not just see it reach RFK, which is, is certainly the priority of, of someone like Bowser, but that it would provide, you know, it would realize the dreams of the streetcar and provide an east-west connection from Georgetown out to Benning Road, um, where you're addressing transit equity for, you know, Ward 7, which is a huge emphasis of Lewis George.

So I think that they have, even if, uh, someone like Janeese Lewis George was not the biggest fan of the RFK project, sense an opportunity here to use RFK to justify this project, which might otherwise get derided as too expensive or too infeasible.

But can you confront the design, you know, uh, you know, errors that, that sort of doomed the streetcar? I, I think that very much remains to be seen.

Charles Allen believes we need a new Metro station.

He's the Ward Six council member, and he's the head of the Tran- Transportation Committee, not just this rapid bus line down Benning Road, H Street and Benning Road, um, to get people there.

And I don't understand why we can't build an above-ground Metro station, right, with three lines.

I think it's silver, blue, and yellow.

I think we need to keep looking at that.

But also then the goal line, which would be rapid bus transit along 8th Street down Benning Road 2.

But is there any NFL stadium in the country where people ride a bus to the stadium more than any other way?

I think there are a whole lot of facilities around the country where people ride shuttle buses all the time.
