She did a interview with Bennett Braun, who was a co-founder of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, which is a repository for a subculture of conspiracy theorists within the mental health community who talk about multiple personality disorder as caused by satanic ritual abuse, Illuminati mind control, and other unhinged shit.

And they were really part of the whole satanic panic.

And one of the things that has always irritated me is the reason I feel some of the issues surrounding the satanic panic get so little coverage, right? When people talk about the satanic panic, they're usually going to talk about humorous aspects of the moral outrage against heavy metal music, Dungeons and Dragons.

or guided imagery sessions, other things where they started confabulating these ridiculous conspiracy theories.

But as in the piece you guys sent before this, it noted even, and I was impressed by this because I was thinking like sometime in the near future here, once I cooled down a little bit, I would write an obituary of my own regarding Gloria Steinem and her connection to the satanic panic.

But I feel like a couple of pieces have been written now that really cover it all, including the Bennett Braun connection.
