J
18:03Josh HammerGUEST
Well, what I think is that most of this, Carl, has been way out in the open for years and years now.
J
18:07Josh HammerGUEST
In fact, my good friend Ben Weingarten actually wrote an entire book on this topic about six years ago or so called American Ingrate, which is all about how Ilhan Omar was a living and breathing embodiment, not just of third worldism and Mogadishu Somalia culture.
J

warlord tribalism, but also just outright fraud, how she essentially defrauded her entire life here.

warlord tribalism but also just just outright fraud how she essentially defrauded her entire life here so i i mean where where even to start i mean we have the revelation that she forged the year of her birth in order to make sure that that that she qualified as a minor when in fact she actually was not a minor she was 18 years old at the time otherwise she would not have been able to to be eligible to get citizenship according to time that she ate that she acquired it it's been public for years now that she allegedly married her own brother as part of the defrauding process How about the fact that her net worth just over the course of the past two, two and a half years or so has gone from a few hundred thousand dollars at the most to allegedly in the $30 million to $35 million range? Then quickly when she realized that, then she quickly scrubbed it away and tried to make it go away.

His response was to withdraw his application for that green card and leave the country, which is somewhat strange.
L
10:48Liz WheelerHOST
And where it gets really interesting, and I'm going to read you reporting from journalist Ben Weingarten, who has been on the Ilhan Omar beat for a long time.
L
10:58Liz WheelerHOST
This actually all started, this investigation into Ilhan Omar actually all started with campaign finance law violations by Ilhan Omar herself.
L
11:06Liz WheelerHOST
And what, which means she spent money improperly from her campaign, several thousand dollars.
L
11:11Liz WheelerHOST
But what she spent that money on, I think will come as a surprise to many people.
L
11:19Liz WheelerHOST
This is what Ben Weingarten reported.
L
11:20Liz WheelerHOST
The Washington Post, he said, just reported that Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi, that's Ahmed Elmi, Ilhan Omar's alleged brother and ex-husband once filed a petition to have his marriage-based green card shifted from condition to permanent status.
L
11:35Liz WheelerHOST
Elmi apparently pulled that petition when immigration authorities came back to him asking for more information, given signs that it was a sham marriage.

P
25:30Pete KalinerHOST
Benjamin Weingarten has a massive piece about Abdul El-Sayed's connections to the Muslim Brotherhood through his family and all of his appearances, his participation in various groups.
P

You can read it at Substack.

P
25:45Pete KalinerHOST
I'm going to run through this pretty quick because you've got a lot of the details already that I brought through various other sources, and he kind of puts it all together, but it's a huge piece.
P
25:54Pete KalinerHOST
First off, he says the records show that El-Sayed has served in repeatedly spoken before and surrounded himself with Muslim Brotherhood affiliates, including unindicted terrorism co-conspirators.

in the trump administration lest they be investigated too she doesn't want to investigate anybody because there's a crime she wants to investigate the administration to scare future people who might want to come and work in the administration because she doesn't want good people coming to work in the government that's a member of barack obama's own political party in fact she's a rising star i'm told she'll run for president someday that scares the crap out of me There seems to be a little hypocrisy at play here.

W
9:53Will ChamberlainGUEST
And there's a lot of, I mean, I think this comes ultimately, there's been a huge amount of work done by Powerline Blog and some David Steinberg, people like that, Ben Weingarten on this question.
W
10:02Will ChamberlainGUEST
And it goes all the way back to the fraudulent naturalization back in 1995, right? It suggests that if they were trying to use the marriage laws in a fake marriage to bring in Ilhan's brother.
W
10:15Will ChamberlainGUEST
The question is, why wasn't Ilhan's brother able to come in with the entire family back in 1995? Because obviously, if you get admitted as a refugee, you can bring in your direct family members.
