Benghazi

What I'm, uh, what I'm describing, and then the, the end result is a country that is actually split in two.

Libya has two rival administrations, one in Tripoli and one in Benghazi.

The Tripoli administration has a lot of former Islamic Fighting Group members.

The administration in Benghazi is drawn from a lot of Gaddafi-era officers and eastern militias.

And the Benghazi group calls the Tripoli group Islamic terrorists, and they actually keep up the justification for not uniting with them and not being willing to actually be even in a collaboration with them.

So 9/11 has a long shadow, um, in a country like Libya, which is still struggling, um, with a very high cost of living and difficult situation, uh, situation for the citizens.

But a lot of that political fallout, the fault line, if you follow that fault line, just, you know, part of that comes from the decisions-

I like how you say peaceful, as if New York isn't peaceful.

We'll never forget Charlie Kirk 9/11, Benghazi on 9/12.

We honor all those men and women who gave their all so we can continue in freedom.

Um, yesterday, September 12th, of course, uh, I believe the 14th anniversary, um, of the attacks on Benghazi.

It was before I joined Fox.

I had spent a lot of time investigating Benghazi, and I was really, really upset with the Obama administration.

I was very close to it.

I was very passionate about it.

And General Wesley, I think it was, or Westmoreland, something like that, he was arguing that, oh, everything was fine in Benghazi.

Nothing really happened in Libya.

And I got a little too worked up.

I was just going to tell you one more thing because I was going to tell you my one critique of myself in terms of mistakes.

Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi.

I'm Chris Fluid, and we are recording this on September 11th when we remember those we lost in the 2001 terrorist attacks and the 2012 attack in Benghazi.

Is it really 9-11?

Holy cow.

And we handed it right back to the same people we've been fighting and left $80 billion of military gear as a parting gift after avoidably getting 13 more service members killed on the way out the door, only to have the commander-in-chief check his watch at the dignified transfer.

I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention Benghazi in 2012, where the same people who praised Hillary Clinton for, you know, showing empathy because she showed up a couple days after 9-11 at Ground Zero.

You know what our chairman of the Joint Chief was doing on that day, by the way? He was one of the pilots that was scrambled to shoot down any more potential civilian airplanes that could be used as missiles.

But the same left that denounces Raisin Cane made Hillary Clinton Secretary of State, who denied our embassy in Libya extra security in emails routed through a private server in her basement with classified material because she failed to even try to understand the enemy here.

I'll give you that big time, Matthew.

Secondly, just confirming whether you know that Benghazi, Derna, Tobruk, and Bardia garrisons have lots of guns that are immobile and can only fire at the Royal Navy.

yes we do know that now absolutely yeah at the time when we when i first moved them no i did not know that i've since learned that and it's something that we will be employing in the full game but at the time no i was under the impression that those were mine to just move around and dilly-dally as much as i wanted in the deserts of north africa and and do whatever the fuck i wanted with them i've since found out that is not a that's a foul it's an illegal move You can't actually do that in the campaign for North Africa.
