Ben VanSumeren

Think about this.

Ben Van Sumeren, Cameron Latu, EJ Jenkins was waived from the 53.

Will Shipley's on injured reserve.

Michael Carter has missed two games with an abdomen injury.

Three, yeah.

Or actually, Ben Van Sumeren.

Is he on the 53? Does he practice squat call-up every week?

You know what? Yeah, I think he's been practice squatting it.

Nico Ermillo hasn't taken an offensive snap yet, if you wanna...

He, he's, Nico Ermillo's taken one fewer offensive snap than Justin Fields and four fewer than Ben VanSumeren.

Um-

Who?

What?

... to Ben Van Sumeren getting, uh, in on three different plays on special teams this week.

Uh, fullbacks matter here.

Uh, and also I just thought this was kind of funny, Jake Browning still gets involved in a couple as well.

And it didn't work out.

But, uh, no, I, getting a couple of, uh, you know, seeing those guys get involved here a little bit on the special teams side of things I thought was pretty cool.

Ben Van Sumeren, like, he's only been here for a few weeks.

Jake Browning still had to kinda earn his opportunities the hard way.
