Ben Steeves

And he said in the offseason, after all of these acquisitions, his goal is to win the Cup.

And at the end of the day, you already see that he picked up Ben Steeves, who is currently in Utica, but with Evan Rodriguez and Jesper Bofest.

And then on top of that, he picked up Luke Evangelista.

And now...

You have the Riley Tufts, I'm blanking on some of the names right now off the top of my head because it's so late, but he had a lot of proven AHL scores.

Ben Steeves, who they got from the Markstrom trade, they added probably four or five guys who are top-of-the-line AHL scorers, and then you have the guys, the prospects, the Lenny Haminahos, the Matias Malovskis, who certainly have promise and have shown that throughout training camps.

Haminaho got his cup of coffee last season.

So there's certainly a lot to like with the Comets, and that winning environment, the amount of skill they've added, is really going to go a long way for not just the development of prospects, but the winning culture of the Devils organization as a whole.

Well, that's the thing.

Sonny Mede came in and gave this team more depth than they had before, right? You traded Jacob Marstrom to Florida to get Evan Rodriguez, Jesper Boquist, and Ben Steeves.

So that trade's done.

You moved out Simone Nemech and you got picks.
