How important is it for you guys to get some stops early?

Oh, well, i- it's important, right? I mean, I think, um, me and Kenny have been talking about it, um, you know, all the games that we played before Wisconsin, we've always got three back-to-back-to-back stops.

Um, that's something that, um, that we talk about as a defensive line room.

Uh, 'cause, you know, 'cause it's all on us, right? Um, so it- it's very important to, to start off the game fast and not slow.

How does that-- does that do anything for your guys' mentality? Like, "We're the one that's kind of full strength, so you need to..." Do you guys take on any type of sense of like, we need to help the rest of the defense where they're banged up a little bit, or step forward, pick up some slack, I guess, is, is-

Oh yeah, for sure.

I think it's always gonna be on us, right? I think, um, you know, our young guys are doing great.

Shout out to, uh, KJ and, um, and Jay Faye Um, but we also gotta help them, right? Uh, we gotta be able to get home and do our assignments so, um, things on the back end can be easier for them.
