So was this just a, was it a random stop or, or, or how did you come to be, um, I guess, um, ins- inspecting, inspecting the muffin, the meth muffin?

[laughs] Yeah, it certainly wasn't random.

So as part of an ongoing operation, uh, targeting the sell and supply of illicit drugs in the West Kimberley, Broome Detec- Detectives were conducting surveillance at a target address.

Uh, a vehicle was observed pulling into the, a- an address of interest, and a male was sighted walking to the house, uh, and the vehicle drove away.

That male was collected a short time later.

Uh, police from the Broome Detective's office conducted a vehicle stop a number of streets away, and the occupants in the vehicle were subjected to a search pursuant to Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

The basic searches of the occupants of the vehicle, a search of the vehicle was commenced, and a bag of hot, fresh chicken treat was located between, on the rear floor between the driver's and the passenger seats of the vehicle.

Yum.

And what should we all do on Sunday? If we want to be there, what's the best vantage point to be able to see it?

Yeah, please come out and cheer us, you know, on Anzac Parade at Taylor Square, on, you know, down near the harbour.

There's so many great vantage points.

We've got some amazing athletes.

We've got Ash Barty, Emma McKean, Paul Gallen's running his first marathon.

Really?

And what's your role? What does the head coach do?

So I help out with a lot of our run clubs.

Where should runners ideally be in their training right now, and what should be the main focus over the next few weeks?

Yeah.

So the, the, the focus 30 days out, you might only have one long run to go, so I really want my runners to focus on their race day simulation.

What is their nutrition gonna be? What clothes are they gonna wear? I, I did a long one with, uh, a good friend of mine on the weekend, and she had some beautiful new gear, and she had blistering on her back from this new gear.

There's no way she can wear that in a marathon, and it was brand-new high-end gear.

So but she knows now she cannot wear that in the marathon.

So I'd get all those little things out.

And I guess with that, what is one piece of advice that you have for the runners that you wish somebody would've given you?

I think, I suppose two questions is: How long do law firms really have until this becomes the norm with Liguria? And then also, are we seeing it elsewhere? Is Harvey doing it? Are other legal techs planning on do it, doing it? What's the story there? How wide, um, an impact will this be?

Um, so from the conversations I've had, it seems to be that this change will be coming in when the contracts come up, uh, for renewal.

Um, now in, with regards to other legal tech providers, so you know, it's, it's heavily rumored that Harvey could follow in Liguria's footsteps, but you know, we should say that the company declined to comment, um, when, you know, we went to them, uh, for comment if they were gonna change their pricing, uh, model.

But I did think it was interesting recently, um, that the CEO of Harvey, Winston Weinberg, uh, revealed about their token usage, um, over the last few months, and they said in January, uh, it hit 1 trillion.

But in, um, June, they expected it to be 12 or 13 trillion.

So that gives you a sense of that expansion there.

And so just to be, uh, clear, tokens are the unit of data, um, AI models use, which is relied upon to price AI usage.

What's the long-term impact of this? And I suppose a- as well, sort of said at the top as well that many believe that this was coming or, or for some, you know, everyone sort of said, "Oh, this was always gonna be a thing." So why has it taken so many as a surprise as well?

exactly i was going to say that because often we do forget about i think it's it's it's easy it can be you know dependent upon it can be a little bit more expensive but it saves the the in-house staff if you contract it out but I think what people do not appreciate enough is the upskilling of your greenkeeping staff in the construction space and in that grow-in space when you do these projects in part in-house using your own staff.

Yeah, a lot with the grow-in.

I've got a relatively young group around us with a few apprentices and Yeah, certainly some of them hadn't really seen that side of it before.

So to get a little bit of skill under their belt with that is really terrific.

So, look, the process was pretty straightforward.

We identified two holes that were in pretty close proximity to each other as our first starting point.

At that time, it was one on the president's course and one on the captain's course.

There's so many more greens to worry about in terms of having a similar feel and a similar look and a similar characteristic as you play golf.

Um, is whether now, um, because, because of the way that Harvey and LawGora have embedded themselves so much within, within the mindset of lawyers, whether any legal tech that's launching now, whether it's worth them doing it, and actually if there's a space, and whether that-- those investors' money is just simply gonna go to waste.

Christine, yes, I think on your question about, um, a bubble a- around Harvey and LawGora, I, I think they're gonna be fine for some time.

Um, as Clem was just saying, they've managed to secure, um, a lot of high-profile deals, got a big section of the market, um, on board.

Um, but they absolutely, um, can't take their foot off the gas.

Um, they're gonna need to work hard to stay ahead of the LLMs.

And one, um, point that I keep hearing coming up, um, is, uh, the question of data, uh, and valuable legal databases.

Um, and that this is kind of a bit of a, um, a, a question, a problem that hangs in the background of these two companies that, you know, as AI becomes cheaper, um, the thing that adds value is these valuable legal databases, the likes that, um, LexisNexis, uh, and Westlaw sort of possess.

So, uh, so within that context, um, Clem and Ben, what, what did you think was the m- were the most interesting findings in all the research that you did? 'Cause you spoke to so many people.
