Ben Knight at eight is three from seven for Cambridge, the same price as he opened up.
G

That's not a penalty yet, but we know he's going to be on them.

It's not a division that usually non-number nines are in the mix, but I thought 16 goals was enough to get you in the places the last couple of seasons.

Well, I mean, regular listeners of the pod might recall I picked out a Cambridge player as my sort of one to watch in League One this season.
T
32:07Tim HansonHOST
That was Ben Knight.
T
32:09Tim HansonHOST
He sort of plays as a number 10 player.
T

yes a game of two halves this one Oxford on top in the first half Siriki Dembele continuing his very good form not only with a goal it was a good goal nice finish in the top right hand corner I think Oxford are about to get a penalty after Mark Harris was fouled with his I saw the referee go take the whistle towards his lips lucky he didn't blow it Dembele finished well but he was brilliant in the first half Momosanga with a rare quiet day for him but Dembele putting in a really good performance and then in the second half it was all Cambridge who had you know by the time the goal came a really nice finish from Ben Knight after some Cambridge pressure it was deserved Tyler Goodrum went close a couple of times later on in the game but it probably at that point would have been quite a fortuitous three points so a lot of Oxford fans very impressed by Cambridge and the same with the latter I think both teams coming away with a well-earned point

I asked him... about Cambridge and what he made of this season and he just said don't mention Ben Knight don't mention that he's a very good player because we don't want people knowing that because he's got a sprinkling of magic and yeah he certainly wants to keep your eye on but yeah Cambridge they don't a little bit like Lincoln they don't look like a team that are going to spiral or be in trouble this season and that is a great achievement given their budget and you know the resources

I think that Cambridge are far from a relentless attacking team, but I think from what I've seen, are quite good at picking their moments and quite good at counter-attacking, particularly when Ben Knight and Sule Kai Kai are in the team.
A
34:17Ali MaxwellHOST
And with maybe Apere or, um, Ahidme up front, I think there is enough there to scare a team in Oxford who might just be a little overconfident, might just push themselves a little too far forward, done on the break.
A
34:30Ali MaxwellHOST
Obviously, Oxford are gonna score 'cause you've got Mo Masanga in the team.
