What is the level of collaboration? Does the manager maybe earn a little bit more say the better he does or in terms of experience at a certain level? I'd be fascinated to just get your take on it.
30:29
Yeah, no, it's an interesting one.
30:30
I think it's always hotly debated, isn't it? But I think, like Steve said, at the end of the day, regardless of, the structure or the roles that you've got at your football club um it's a collaboration between a group of people um and i think that's kind of where it's maybe moved in the last few years so here at norwich for example yeah the the head coach is always heavily involved um but it will be a bit more like steve said where it's about trying to appraise a squad and sort of get consensus on what you think you need from a from a positional perspective and a profile perspective and then you know, that's ultimately then where the recruitment team and all of the different tools that we'll use in sort of modern football, they come into their own at that point and you start to then identify players and build lists and then the head coach will come back in again towards the end of the process.

You know, it's, For me, in my role here, it would never make sense for me to sign a player that any head coach really didn't like because ultimately that's not going to lead to good outcomes.
31:27
So it has to be a collaboration.
31:29
I think in terms of what you said, maybe giving a little bit more freedom in certain moments, I think that's important as well.
31:35
But it's like any relationship, right? It's...

And you did take us through how difficult that was and the process of sort of appointing a new manager.
