Ben Hoffman

I know it's a big goal for a lot of the U.S. athletes.

It was a big goal for like people like Ben Hoffman, T.O. back in the day to try to assert myself as the guy in America, maybe one of the guys.

So, yeah, that's kind of like my two, you know, baby goal and my big goal.

So, yeah.

remember Ben Hoffman shivering on the bike.

I was watching that as I was in a church huddling for an hour trying to warm up because I pulled myself off the course.

Man, I can't believe those boys finished.

Well, and I think also, you know, it changes as you get obviously as you get, you know, as you know, athletes more and and also the level.

And, you know, I know Ben Hoffman, who you trained with a lot.

Um, you know, and who I coached for many years, like, I mean, when he was in the thick of it, like our communication was like daily, you know what I mean? And then, and I mean, sometimes I was living with him, but there were other like.

know parts and it's been interesting for him and an evolution like you know as he's kind of like retired from the sport like our communication style like has has it's changed you know what i mean and it's way more of like a friend type communication now but also like Ben actually still has goals and he still does things and everything.

So that's different.

But like I was like, well,

to your credit, Ben Hoffman's totally in control was is about point zero zero zero zero zero zero one percent of the rest of the population in control.

Yeah.
