This character, Angel, has appeared twice on the big screen.

Ben Foster played him in X-Men The Last Stand, while Ben Hardy played him in the 2016 X-Men Apocalypse.

Um, you know, it really hasn't, Angel really hasn't had a big role in the, in the, in the, uh, live action.

So we're excited to see if this casting holds to see probably a more, uh, how we want to say more than likely a bigger portrayal, a longer portrayal at that point.

You know? I, I think it was shameful how they handled Archangel in X-Men Apocalypse, to the point that I was even pulling clips of Archangel transform- Angel turning into Archangel and posting them on Instagram, and I f-forgot as I was doing the post, I was like, "Do I have all the adaptations that show Angel turning into Archangel?" And I was like, "Oh, wait, I forgot X-Men Apocalypse." Because it literally is just Ben Hardy drinking shirtless and Apocalypse just waving his hand, and then he just turns into Archangel.

It was not cinematic at all.
