Belvedere Torso

It's, it's a piece of Irish poetry that's really entered into, into political discourse.

So in making that, um, image, Barry was also completing a fragment, the, uh, Belvedere Torso, uh, possibly Hercules, and he's re-imagining and completing something from the past.

And I think it's nice that he imagines a, a suffering, wounded hero as opposed to an omniscient one.

And I, I do think that Europe has a great advantage of having the idea of displacement and homelessness and suffering at its heart really.
