Bellevue College

And now looking back on that and knowing where I ended up, I ended up exactly where I should have been.

My undergraduate experience at University of Washington was so great and at Bellevue Community College before that.

And it taught me so many things that I might not have learned at Yale.

And it brought me into communities that I might not have gotten to be in if I were at Yale.

Here in King County, there are more dropboxes than last year.

Earlier this summer, elections officials installed five new ones, including at the Seattle Central Library, Northgate Library and Bellevue College.

The county says it wants to install 10 more in the future.

A massive art walk is taking over downtown Seattle on Saturday, and it's free.

And recently when I was up in Seattle, where I'm from, somebody approached me and asked if I had been on Bellevue Community College's website recently.

And I was like, "Oh, you mean bcc.biz?"

[laughs]

Why? What does it say? Did they update it finally?"

[laughs]

And he said, "No, go on the site and search your name." So I did, and it turns out that Bellevue Community College has me listed as a notable alumni.

[laughs]

So I said, okay, I have to find a school as close as possible to Microsoft.

So I found a Bellevue College, but I didn't have the money.

So I just went to a bank in France and said, hey, I will need the $10,000 for one year to go to the U.S. And they looked at me funny because, you know, in France, you don't pay for school.

So even the bank, why do you want money for the school? So, you know, my mom, my parents had to go sign up.

So that was my high school job.

And I did do-- So before I transferred to Central Washington University, I was-- I did-- I worked at Creekside Angling company and went to Bellevue College.

At the time it was Bellevue Community College, now it's just Bellevue College.

And so I just did all my undergrad stuff there.

I was really enjoying my job at Creekside.
