Bell 407

If you tap on one of these aircraft, you'll find out what kind of an aircraft.

It's a Bell 407.

It's at 8,800 feet.

It's a Type 3 helicopter moving at 63 miles an hour, and it squawks 1255.

He's a journalist here at the TIE.

And this summer, he got the rare chance to join wildfire fighters in a Bell 407 helicopter as they fought the Ainslie Creek wildfire.

Sometimes for as far as the eye can see, these little like spots of fire just sending up white smoke into the air.

And it's not so much the individual scale that gets you, but the broader scope of these fires and just how big they are over such a wide landscape.

Uh, he's coming out again, actually.

He's bringing, uh, AirMed, uh, Bell 407.

Nice.

So that'll be cool to see.
