Belgian identity card

And specifically, we we now have our belgium ids

yeah and that's the main thing is you need to have a belgium id and it's asked for to prove your identity for various things and and even just like if you have a medical appointment for instance they they store what your insurance is like you're there's two different kinds of insurance here that's another whole thing but why don't we have time for that today um but there but they store what kind of insurance you your that you Signed up for in your ID card basically so they use that to find how to bill you right and or how to build a company You

know for me, and this is something we're not going to deal in this episode But I'm required to take these integration courses And they had information about me on my ID that they could go ahead and look at to find out You know my eligibility for taking these courses so there.

It's really more of a full document than what our IDs or driver's licenses are in the United States.

And there's just like not easy ways to do that.

So you just kind of give up or don't do the things or...

well and you know one of the reasons why it takes a while to get your belgium id is because you have to do we had to do three trips to city hall um in person to be able to do to do the the paperwork that we needed to do

right and now we live in a neighborhood called edderbeck and Atterbeck Town Hall is what we're going to.
