BrittGUEST
I've seen Begotten.
AsploshHOST
And you know, I'm like, this is up my alley.
AsploshHOST
It has like a silent film and it's like a real super art house thing.
AsploshHOST
Um, anyway that movie is really intense and just like so disturbing and uh very like just just gross and just prolonged just gross scenes of just really intense hard to watch stuff it was 70 minutes and i don't walk out of movies uh and i didn't walk out of that one but it was a it was hard it was a hard watch it was a challenging movie so begotten it was pretty busy though anyway so I did lots of chill things and then on Saturday night I watched begotten in the theater with a bunch of other very uncomfortable people and it was intense so there you go if you want to watch a disturbing movie Begotten.
AsploshHOST
Digital has just been remastered.
NickHOST

Ryan VerrillHOST
December 8th, Kino Lorber are getting into the limited edition game again with a limited 4K release of 1989's Begotten.
Ryan VerrillHOST
Now, if you've never seen Begotten, this is a...
Ryan VerrillHOST
This is a weird one.
Ryan VerrillHOST
Um, I don't even know where to start with this.
Ryan VerrillHOST
instead of them.
Andy NelsonGUEST
Yeah.
Ryan VerrillHOST
Um, have you seen Begotten? Any, any thoughts on this coming out?
John RobertsonGUEST
It was unsettling.
John RobertsonGUEST
I mean, it reminded me of something like Begotten, you know, which is Elias Merge's experimental movie that's getting restored, that's coming out.
John RobertsonGUEST
So that's a horror thing that's a movie, but that's really, really fantastic.
John RobertsonGUEST
But this just kind of really kind of surrealist styled strange and uncanny and with how great video games can look now, realistic as possible, realistic as hell.
Dylan GreenHOST
I literally just saw this yesterday.
Dylan GreenHOST
It's a, um, it's this crazy experimental horror film from 1989 called Begotten-
Keenyn OmariGUEST
Begotten
Dylan GreenHOST
... that I had never heard of.
