These are, like, my favorite movies that... because there's something beautiful to me about a love story that in some ways is unrealized or doesn't last forever, and this sort of beautiful tension that is in that.

And again, just getting the ball rolling, you're immediately... uh nine years later or in my case a week later because i watched these on dvd from my library uh back in the day and then had to wait a whole month before seeing before midnight which was which felt like nine years um because i was so invested in those characters by that point but um It's just such a remarkable job for a movie that is ostensibly very kind of laid back and just a hangout real time experience immediately ensnaring you with such a degree of like palpable grip where it's I need to see what's going to happen.
