Becky Anderson

Wolves women are also in action at home this weekend as they welcome Bristol City to the Sears Stadium in their latest Subway Players' Cup group stage game.

Dan McNamara's side were beaten by Brighton in the competition in midweek and Wolves player Becky Anderson has been reflecting on Wednesday's results with Craig Brett.

Yeah, they were really strong.

Good challenge for us.

whenever i do

it at all no it's uh it's not my uh it's not me poking a bear at all on that one or a tree or a tree yeah tickle the tricky trees there we go right we'll get back on well let's get back on to bristol city away um um matt we've um we've got the uh highlights up on the screen just uh here and it started really brightly for us didn't it I think it was um we were well actually let's before we go into the game itself let's just quickly talk about the changes that were made from last time out in the cup it was Emily Orman back in for back in for Alex Brooks it was G in for Morth Amber in for Mel Phyllis and uh then it was Chloe Williams in for Tammy and uh Yana Daniels and Liv Francis in for Becky Anderson and AJ.

And that was because Mel Lawley was out injured as well that Liv Francis came out.

Or it wasn't she.

Alex Brooks coming in for Emily Orman was expected, so that was one of the changes.

But the other changes, which gives us a bit of a stay of where Mac is thinking, was Morph in for G, AJ in for Yana Daniels, Becky Anderson in for Chloe Williams, Luan Worzy and Mel Phyllis in for Amber Hughes and Mel Lawley.

So it was sort of six changes there.

Two, three, four, five.

Yeah, six changes there.

So I think as much as anything, it was a chance to get... people like Mel Phyllis, Becky Anderson, time on the pitch and to actually see what they could do and also try and rest and rotate.

I think we're just watching the highlights back now and I think that, you know, Ipswich started very brightly.

We weren't attacking them enough, closing down enough and they scored fairly early on.
