Beauxbatons

That bearskin coat? I

think it's probably a Beauxbaton one, you know.

Oh, you're right.

You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Maybe it's baby blue and everything.

Why does it look Parisian?

Yeah, it looks Parisian.

Did you get that at a fur shop in Paris? You've been visiting the Beauxbaton Academy? Right, right, right.

Yeah.

But in this one, there is like an actual language, right? There is a language.

And I think one of the things that we forget is that this is taking place in the UK, right? That like, I think we take for granted the fact that everything is in English for the most part, right? Even when Beauxbatons comes, they are all speaking in English.

They speak in French.

But there's very few moments where like English Is not like or is like an impediment or it's cumbersome.

I guess that is meant to be a big gag, being like, oh my God, Voldemort was, was once a student.

And it's like, well, I mean, everyone, everyone goes to Hogwarts, unless he was a French girl and he's going to Beauxbatons.

Like, yeah, he's going to Hogwarts.

I mean, I guess you don't think about that.

[laughs]

It'd be like Hagrid and the lady from Beauxbatons in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, except less interesting and romantic.

[laughs]

I tell her and the kids, "You know what? You guys go."

... little interaction.

Or what we'll do is we'll make the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons keywords actually matter.

[laughs] One day.

I mean, we will have another Fleur potentially and, like, a Bill and-

That, that's ways away

...

I don't think she'll even be Beauxbatons [laughs] at that point.

Probably and probably not, no. [laughs]
