Be Still My Soul

The hymn itself, which has served the church, but of course, when you see the story, then you can see the Lord's hand working behind how it came to be in the lives of people like you and me.

And today we're going to start with my personal favorite hymn, Be Still My Soul, written originally in German back in the 1700s and based on the text of Psalm 46.

Years later, the hymn was used powerfully in the lives of other believers with amazing stories, like a certain Olympic runner.
