Well, from my pre-season research, Pete, and listening to the comments and the views of people on and phoning into Radio Derby, there wasn't much hope for surrounding New Pride Park unless this takeover materialised.

The consortium fell off to pieces a week or so before the start of the season.

So there's a potential that Derby could be really bad here.

but I say there's still four of them on the strange contracts that were given out a couple of years ago.

Well, that set the alarm bells ringing as well because he is the major asset.
