Bayswater City SC

[laughs] Um, in terms of surprise, I think we could see some surprise here in Group C coming up.

So we got Marconi Stallions, Sydney Olympic, Oakleigh Cannons, and Bayswater City.

Now, I think we touched on it when we first started this, um, you know, conversation about predictions about Sydney Olympic, and, you know, we've talked about question marks in kind of every group.

But I think Sydney Olympic, what they've done, you know, being relegated in the NPL New South Wales was a shock to everyone.

I can get myself out to that," and you can see these guys, uh, in the flesh and, uh, yeah, see how they, uh, see how they go on the, uh, on the national stage.

Yeah.

And now the final team of this group, the team all the way out west, Bayswater City.

Yes.

So they can complete the Queensland quadruple, um, won everything in the state of Queensland and will be a fierce component, um, come the Australia Championship.

Out west, Bayswater City also secured the league and championship double with a two-nil win over Perth Azzurri, so congratulations to them.

It's back-to-back years they've done that, um, Bayswater, so they're looking strong.

And finally, in NPL Victoria, it's gonna be an Avondale versus Oakleigh grand final.

South Melbourne start their Australia Championship defence down in the Shire and Sutherland Sharks get to kick off at home against the current champions.

Broadmeadow Magic and West Appia face off at Magic Park on the Saturday, also at 3pm.

And then the new time slot, which I'm intrigued they actually did, is Saturday 7.30 kickoff Bayswater City versus Marconi Steins.

So it'll be a 4.30 kickoff out west.

Group B, Avondale FC, West Apia, Adelaide City and Broadmeadow Magic.

Group C, Marconi Steyn, Sydney Olympic, Bayswater City and the Oakley Cannons.

And then finally in Group D, it's Lions FC, Preston Lions, South Hobart and the Wollongong Wolves.

So there's plenty to deep dive about all those groups.

So I think overlooking Broadmeadow might become an undoing for one of those teams.

And I suspect Broadmeadow might, you know, just trump one of these teams on a match day here or there.

Group C, another really interesting group, Marconi Stadium, Sydney Olympic, Bayswater City, and the Oakley Cannons.

Now, Sydney Olympic, if you start with them, relegated from the NPL New South Wales, have undertaken a rebranding for the Australia Championship.
