It's clones, right? But, um, they're just a very solid, very, very interesting unit that I think people should be thinking about more.

I think there's a world where you run them with Baylan Skoll.

Yeah.

His helmet and lightsaber style still echo the Inquisitors, but his face remains hidden, and this episode wisely resists the urge to explain him away too quickly.

We don't have the answer yet on who he really is beneath that mask, but the mystery itself is doing important work, keeping Baylan and Shin's operation feeling larger and more dangerous than a simple two-person partnership.

Sabine manages to lose their pursuers by hiding the ship in the dense cover of the purrgial pod, then sets the T6 down safely in a strikingly beautiful red forest on the surface of Seatos.

It's a gorgeous, quiet moment after all that chaos, and it gives Ahsoka and Sabine a rare beat to simply breathe together.

But peace never lasts long in this story.

The episode ends with Baylan Skoll standing alone at the ancient ruins we first saw last episode, calmly ordering troops and assassin droids into the red forest to hunt down the Jedi hiding somewhere below.

This episode trades plot momentum for character work, and honestly, that's exactly what this point in the story needed.

We get real insight into how Ahsoka teaches, real insight into what Sabine still struggles with, and a genuinely moving glimpse at Hera's life outside the cockpit, balancing motherhood, grief, and duty all at once.
