Battle of the Alamo

Of course, I've been to the Alamo, Alamo many, many times, and it's, it's famous, once again, not only in Texas, but all around the world.

Most people, you don't have to explain too much when you say Battle of the Alamo.

They, they sort of have an idea in their mind of what that is.

And it just occurred to me, I, I wanted to have a book where the Alamo played a central part, and what better way to do that than to have some famous relic stolen from the local Noble County Historical Museum.

They may play small parts, but they're very small.

When you think about Texas history, and they always talk about the Battle of the Alamo, it's always same main three, Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and Colonel Travis.

People don't talk much about Bonham, who went out and looked for help, came back and got killed.

He could have got away and lived.

This place is connected to the Battle of the Alamo.

It's right across the street from the Alamo.

Their spirits will live and their legends grow.

As long as we remember the Alamo.
