Batman: Knightfall

But then I mentioned before, Batman: Caped Crusader, which is on its second season.

We recently reviewed part one of Batman: Knightfall.

There is a lot of animated Batman right now.

How many? Five seasons of The Batman.

[laughs] But, but I thought it was fun.

Um, I watched Batman: Knightfall Part One, which is that new Batman animated movie, and I thought that was good.

It definitely, like, was like, "We're R-rated, and we're gonna be edgy," like, a lot in the movie, and I didn't like that.

Yeah, I know, it was like, dude-

A lot of people just don't do it well.

Let me ask you before we get into Batman: Knightfall, what's out there that you've done that maybe fell through the cracks, and for whatever reason, whether it was distribution or timing or whatever, what piece of work have you done that you're proud of that many of us haven't seen and you wish we would take a look at?

There's this independent film called King Ivory, um, that we shot about a couple of years ago that went to Venice Film Festival.

It's a really heavy film, but I think it's a great film.

Orphan Black was just outstanding, and of course Nacho, just a lifetime role.

Congratulations on all this.

We're gonna talk about Batman: Knightfall Part I as we let you go.

Can you give us a website or a social media site? You know, hopefully it will follow along with everything that you're doing if you have something like that.

lot.Probably talk some Star Trek as well.

And then, uh, also Jeremy Adams, the fantastic Green Lantern and Aquaman writer, and writer of, uh, Knightfall, the animated movie part one, the Batman movie.

Nice.

So, uh, I hear-

And it just, as, as you take a swig here, I picked this up the other day at Walmart.

I didn't watch it yet, but look at that little '90s, uh, Batman: Knightfall came out, part one.

You know, Bane breaks Batman's back.

The cartoon movie.

I'll take it.

Well, keeping it Batman, a new Batman emerges in the Batman: Knightfall Part II: Knightquest trailer.

Happy to report we both liked Batman: Knightfall-

Yeah

...

[laughs]

It's funny, I took a couple of notes while watching the Batman: Knightfall movie, 'cause I had a couple observation-

I always take notes during the movie, for sure.

I had a couple observation...

We had three shows for you in addition to this weekly Pick of the Week show.

We had our Booksplode on Concrete: Volume One, Depth.

We had our special edition review of Batman: Knightfall, Part One: Knightfall.

And then we had our, just this past week, right behind this show in the feed, we had our Mediasplode fall TV preview, where Ron and I went through the list of all the new shows coming out in September, October, November, December and yes, I know those are not, not all fall, but whatever, and talked about what we were looking forward to, what was exciting on the, on the rundown.
