So I actually talked about these cards a while back, and I never got the chance to show them because-

I hopped in a show, and these cards are from 1966.

So this is from the 1966 Batman set.

This first one is called Landing a Big One, and that is Batman reeling in The Riddler [laughs] on a-

Why do you love Batman? Because of the original series that has nothing to do with the new movie.

The original, like, pow, boom.

That was like, I would watch it so close to the TV that I could feel the static on my face.

I love the Batman movies, but as a leftist, I'm very anti-Batman.

So, so I'm, I'm like, "Oh, no kidding." So I walk up and I go, "Mack," I said, "I'm sorry," I go, "I didn't know anything about..." I go, "I didn't even know your name until just now." [laughs] I go, "Martin just told me." And he goes, "Oh, no worries, man.

No worries." I said, "You know, it's crazy," I said, "If things had worked out a little different..." Because his dad, my favorite show growing up was Batman, the 1966 Adam West version.

Yep.

My dad was supposed to be on one of those episodes but thought it was a little too campy and would rather go home and take a nap instead of, of being in a, on a TV show set on an off day.

the movie a talent for loving was pitched to the band by producer walter shenson who had produced the first two beatles movies the script was based on the 1961 novel of the same name by author richard condon richard condon's other famous work the manchurian candidate there were test pictures taken of the band in suits and riding horses but ultimately the band declined to make the movie Now, if I'm correct, the months that they would have taken to make that movie was instead a break for the band.

Now, the movie, A Talent for Loving, would end up being made in 1969 by Walter Shenson, and some of the people in the cast included Topol, who is best known for Fiddler on the Roof, and Cesar Romero, who is best known for playing the Joker in the Batman TV series.

And, if it matters, it's not a movie that got great reviews.

Also around this time, the band were fully immersing themselves into the counterculture scene of the mid-1960s in London.
