Batman Family

You've got to listen to an old

episode of Batman Family.

You have

to dig that

All right, now, course one, we cannot not talk about the fact that Batgirl and Robin face devilish daughters at Hudson University.

If you thought that Joker's daughter and Catgirl were more than a match for Robin, wait till you see what happens when the daughters of the Riddler, the Penguin, and the Scarecrow take on the dynamite duo.

The attack of these felonious females takes place in Batman Family No. 9 on sale the week of October 18th.

That story, of course, is by Bob Rosakis, Irv Novick, and Vince Coletta.

Oh, oh God, I don't remember.

Batman Family.

Okay, sure.

I think Superboy and the Legion of Superheroes.

Wait, what else? There were others.

That's my sweet spot.

I read Batman Family, and I read Superboy and the Legion.

That's great stuff, man.

Um, not only could Kirk not hold down a job, he couldn't hold down his own comic book.

Um, Man-Bat actually had a short, very short, it was only two-issue run in the mid-1970s, uh, before his storyline was shunted to the back pages of the Batman Family book, which eventually was dissolved into the Detective Comics title.

Uh, prior to the events of this story, uh, Kirk and Francine moved to New York, uh, where he became an unemployed private detective, uh, despite having no training at all to do such work.

And, uh, Rebecca, his daughter, was unable to get to sleep because she had inherited, uh, his supersonic hearing.
