But only a few months later, Tobin tells her they'll be moving away.

And then announces it's in a place called Bathgate.

Moving Kathy to the other end of the country, away from everyone she knows and everything she's familiar with, it really does appear to be yet another effort by Peter Tobin to isolate his wife and one of the hallmarks of psychological domestic violence.

Let's get a listen to People's Ford Bog Hall in Bathgate, Caledonia.

Just having a wee tune first thing in the morning.

Like his first marriage, his second was also short-lived, with his wife divorcing him in 1976.

His third marriage occurred over a decade later, in 1989, and also resulted in a child, with the couple moving to Bathgate in West Lothian, Scotland.

This marriage was nearly as short as his first, with his wife leaving in 1990 and returning south to her native city of Portsmouth, Hampshire.

The accounts provided by all three of Tobin's wives were shockingly similar.

Analysts and researchers were drafted in to help review the information collected, looking at everything from where Tobin was living at any one time, where he worked, who his friends were and what car he drove.

The killer lived a nomadic lifestyle, frequently moving from one place to another with little notice, making the investigation complex.

In June 2007, just one month after he had been sentenced for Angelica's murder, a house where he had previously resided in Bathgate, West Lothian, was searched in connection with the disappearance of the schoolgirl in 1991.

On the 10th of February 1991, 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton left her big sister's property and headed off to wait at a bus stop in Livingston, West Lothian, from where she travelled to Bathgate.
