Batavia is it like practically in Iowa? You know,

I know it's a different world out in Batavia.

I was in Batavia not too long ago.

Kids were on the roof there.

They've got old fashioned kids over there.

Um, And unfortunately, there are not a lot of kids that have been in my neighborhood.

So the set was really cool.

I could not tell the club that you were shooting in, though, and I heard you tell, I guess, Catherine and Shane on Coastal Idiots that you shot in the Midwest in Batavia outside of Chicago.

Yeah.

Great job on disguising the club.

I lived in Chicago for a while.

I'm not all that familiar with Batavia, but I know that Chicago loves comedy.

Why Batavia, though? I love that staff.

And then I also found along the way that education and connecting with people is really what drives me.

So this idea maybe stemmed from something I've been doing this season at my local brewery in Batavia, Illinois, Sturdy Shelter Brewing Company.

We've been doing this once a month event called Plants and Pints, where people purchase a ticket and that gets them a drink from the brewery of their choice and And then a guided walk around Batavia with me where we talk about plants.

And it could be anything.

It's usually an hour-long walk.

Oh, okay.

You know, Windsor Park, Homestead in Batavia, where there's typically with those types of facilities, it's a large buy-in.

And and then oftentimes there is some religious component to it.

Not always, but there's often.

Yeah, well, they're headquartered.

Aldi's headquartered in, what, Batavia, Illinois?

Yeah, that sounds right.

Or at least North American, right? It's German.

And that feeling propels you to go for the next thing.

And to this day, Every time I get an email from my agent going, hey, we got a gig for you in Batavia, Illinois.

I go, my heart flutters.

I go, this is great.

I'm very excited.

In November, I will be in St. Louis; Mohammed, Illinois; Batavia, Illinois; uh, Seattle; Portland; Eugene.

Oh my God, such fun places.

I can't wait.
