And it's got a heap of data center developments, including one in Launceston, which is due to be up and running early next year, a massive one in Indonesia, a place called Batam, which is actually very close to Singapore.

And it's got two sites in Kuala Lumpur, another one in Tasmania, these other sort of bucket of sites it's trying to get up.

So its business is basically to build or rent data centers, chock them full of NVIDIA chips and servers, generate AI tokens, which is the compute product of what it calls an AI factory, which is basically you just put energy in, run it through these servers, and you're creating the compute, which it sort of breaks down into AI tokens as a way to sort of think about the product.

So, you know, aluminum plants coming up, destroying ecologies nearby.

Rempang and Galang, which are the two islands just south of Batam, so meaning very near to Singapore.

There are many stories of villagers getting turfed out of their homes in order to build renewable farms and all that for Singapore, to supply Singapore.

So I think Singaporeans just have to become a bit more aware about impact on our surrounding region.

I mean, in fairness, if you're doing it in Bintan, that's fine.

But if you're going all the way to Paris to go to sleep, I think, hey, just go to Bintan or Batam.

They're much closer.

is in central Java, and then take a plane to Batam and then take a ferry from Batam to Singapore.

So I think a lot of people are doing this kind of like creative alternatives right now.

So it depends how you choose to spend your September holidays.

My very first trip I'm going to talk about, when I say long weekend, three days is the maximum I've done when I've stayed there overnight.

Now, the first one's Batam.

And for those who have lived in Singapore for any length of time, Batam is the trip for a girl's trip.

A lot of people go over there for a day spa, you know.

Why? Because generally speaking, it's much more affordable than Singapore.

And what we did was just the three treatments.

He did three different massages because he really wasn't interested in any of the other treatments.

Actually, no, he did two massages and I'm not going to say made him, but I convinced him that to do a facial and so you can do three massages if you want you can do a Swedish or a Balinese or there's a whole heap of different ones and it's a whole thing so you get picked up from the fairy pier so the fairy pier are two fairy piers in Batam but just remember to be picked up at the one just letting them know where you're going to be picked up And so they pick you up from the ferry pier.

or Bintan or something? Something like that.

They can always come in the waters and get friends from Malaysia and Indonesia to give them lots of subsidized oil.

Yeah, or the folks that go to Batam to get the subsidized Indonesia petrol, fill up their boats or whatever.

It creates all this arbitrage opportunities.

Yes, and it doesn't help the country's original intention of protecting the poor.
