I thought the whole point of that back then was, well, we don't really want this chaotic type of thing deciding playoffs and, and a chase race.

So I guess from your point of view, why is this a, a good thing in the chase when we're wanting to see it decided straight up and, and not see, um, sort of randomness introduced into it?

Well, I tell you what, Jordan, next week, and we, and we'll still talk about some of these, these other Chase drivers, but before we get too far down the, the order, next week is huge for this Chase because Bristol is a great track for Denny Hamlin.

It's a great track for Kyle Larson.

Those guys are separated by nine points going into this thing, the Bristol night race.

Bell then took the lead and finally ended his 33-race winless streak.

Christopher Bell wins the 77th Southern 500 at Darlington for his first win at the Lady in Black, 14th for a win, and his first win since the Bristol Night Race.

last year, almost a whole season ago, but it's not like Bell wasn't trying.

It was up to this point.

But Bell has been close at Gateway before.

A couple years ago, he dominated that race until he had those engine issues and ended up seventh thanks to Truex pushing him to the finish.

And, of course, he won the Bristol Night Race last year, so Bell could very easily pop off another couple wins and take the points lead and go on an absolute tear.

I mean, we've seen it before.

And then we'll be back next Monday night to break all the action down from the Enjoy Illinois 300.

And then we'll be getting ready for the Bass Pro Shops night race, Bristol Motor Speedway, our final night race of the year.

Definitely looking forward to that one.
