I praised this show up and down from season one on how well they redefined the villains, but still held true to the core of who they were.

I loved how Clayface was not a famous actor who then became disfigured, but instead Basil was a never was, and he tried to use the Clayface drugs to become more famous.

I loved how Selina Kyle was still effective as a cat burglar, but not quite as polished as we're used to seeing.

So that must be a different Clayface than what's going to be in the movie because that show and the movie are in the same universe, right?

The implication that the guy that thinks he's Basil Carlo from the first book might actually be that he is the real Basil Carlo and the one that's pretending to be Basil Carlo isn't the real Basil Carlo but instead somebody else that's a Clayface pretending to be Basil Carlo that's slowly killing women by poisoning them with the thing that made him into Clayface in the first place so everybody's melting and My theory is that the evil, not Basil Carlo.
