Basic Instinct

And I think, yeah, I think it made the right choice.

Yeah, you've often heard probably the story of where now Sharon Stone has shared that in her famous scene of Basic Instinct, she was not aware of what was going to be revealed in the movie until she actually saw the screen or did not know.

And so she was wearing the cute white dress cut like yours, halter.

And she goes and she says in that scene where she's being interrogated by the detectives about her lover being murdered, they're like, we want you to open and close your legs like this.

yeah

genre you know michael douglas of course done like i think he done three he's done a basic instinct disclosure they were some of the huge ones but there was loads of those at the time yeah there was there was there was and all like there's a lot of quite a lot of nudity at the time and i didn't i i didn't watch this one i think i did watch this fully when i was young probably when i was like about 15.

I didn't think of it as being like an erotic thriller until I was watching it the other day.

And I said to Lily, let's watch this film.

No, I think she'd given up until...

And then she's sitting on the floor, then Jennifer Jason Leigh comes in and starts chatting to her and she thinks, oh, you know what, you'll do.

Yeah, Jennifer Jason Leigh, she won Best Villain on MTV against Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct.

Oh, really? That's a good one, because Sharon Stone was...

I said, I've seen Fatal Attraction.

I've seen Basic Instinct.

I said, what? So, what do you mean? You know, what do you

mean you saw basic instinct? Well, I guess a 14-year-old could get their hands on basic instinct at this day and age.

In a matter of

speaking.

In entertainment news, Michael Douglas has revealed what his friend Jack Nicholson is up to these days.

The Basic Instinct star who worked with Nicholson on the 1975 movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest says his mate is doing well and enjoying retirement at his home in Beverly Hills, often walking around in a dressing gown and slippers.

Nicholson last starred in a film back in 2010.

And Harry Styles has wrapped up his 30-show Madison Square Garden residency.

some people get a passport to the big life in the big world the all-access pass to the pivotal people and events of their era my amigo joe esterhouse is one of them he ate hungarian food with jimmy hendrix did the last interview with otis redding helped expose the myli massacre ran wild with hunter thompson and went to snake canyon with evil knievel who for the record he says was one horrible bastard And this was before he made a mountain of money in Tinseltown where he spatted with Sylvester Stallone, made a star of Sharon Stone, and declared war against Mike Ovitz.

For the record, he also penned Flashdance, Basic Instinct, and Showgirls.

Thus, it was with good reason he titled his memoir, Hollywood Animal.

I've been wanting to make a film of all that madness for several years now.
