BASE jumping

It's even more dangerous than the medical mistake risk.

The most dangerous sport that I know of, adventure sport, is base jumping.

The deaths from base jumping run somewhere in the order of 1 out of 500 to 1 out of 1,000 jumps.

So your risk is 1 out of 500.

That's a higher risk than dying from medical mistakes.

It's a much higher risk than driving a car or riding in a car.

And here's the crazy part.

Wingsuiting, which is so cool, wingsuiting has a much, much, much higher death rate than simple base jumping and pulling your parachute.
