And oh yeah, swim sessions at one of my other athletic happy places, Barton Springs Pool.

This is the Barton Springs Pool in Austin, Texas.

We've got a brave swimmer jumping off that diving board to quite a roar from the crowd.

I love that you can hear everyone on the beach in the water cheering him on.

I do, too.

I miss Barton Springs, which I've never even swam in.

But I tried to go there during the pandemic and was turned away.

Really? Remember that? I saw a picture the other night of Barton Springs in Austin.

It's this amazing, giant... is it a maybe it's i think it's a natural swimming pool that everybody goes to in the summer but it's right kind of right in the midst of the city which is a very cool yes i remember before our creation with the urban environment

yes okay it didn't ring a bell at first but as you're describing it this was part we never went there as part of our tbtl trip but people were either telling us about it or recommending it yes yes yes that's how i tried to go there incredible

Actually, you know what? I think Becca and I tried to go there years ago because we were in Austin once and we were turned away because it was the pandemic and it was only Austin residents were allowed to go into Barton Springs.

There were so many, and I'm not turning this into a conversation about the pandemic.

Saturday morning to Barton Springs at 8 a.m. because I don't want to go in the big crowds over there.

Just by like 3 o'clock in the summer, it'll be like 2,000 people and you're just bathing in a toilet because it's one of the biggest springs in the state.

It refills every few hours.

We got a convertible Mustang.

We went to like Barton Springs pool.

I bought some cowboy boots.

I got a cowboy hat.

What about people who are approaching you in real life? How is that happening?

Most of the time it's happening in a public space like grocery store or at Barton Springs or at a bar.

Can we dive in a little bit to the Barton Springs one?

Yeah.

Because that's, I have guy friends who are terrified of doing it at Barton Springs because they're like, that's just weird.

Like we're in bathing suits and like, are they going to think it's creepy if I'm walking up to them? And I'm like, no.
