Barry Larkin

I mean, how many people were excited to... go home and turn on the old radio and tune into 700.

I mean, luckily the Reds have a great broadcast from the Cowboy to you've got Barry Larkin in there and say what you will about Barry.

I love to hear what his – the context he can bring as somebody not only who won a World Series in Cincinnati, Hall of Fame, shortstop.

He's a guy who's involved with the team.

He's – you know, he's at spring training.

If you go out to Arizona, you'll see Barry Larkin doing drills with guys working with, uh, Ellie de la Cruz.

Um, you'll see Eric Davis out there doing the same thing, sitting in a golf cart, you know, looking like a, like an OG with a, you know, he had some really fresh cleats on when I saw him out there, just, you know, really just watching him through the shades.

It's pretty, pretty cool image.

You covered an event all four games.

You grabbed Barry Larkin out of the locker room when they won game four to celebrate.

Yeah, we don't need to go on

how they beat the A's, all right? I liked it better when it didn't happen.

Rob Dibble the winner.

John Franco with his 17th save, and Larkin had three hits today.

Larkin now leads the league with a .363 batting average.

Larkin's number one, Tony Gwynn second, then Will Clark, Mark Grace, and Vaughn Hayes.

And Hayes is in the on-deck circle.

Pirates 10, and the Phillies nothing.

He saved two runs and ended the inning.

That

Hey, what it do? What's up? What's going on? Just giving you the lowdown on the dirtiest man in Detroit.

Yeah, Barry Larkin.

Yeah, Barry Larkin.

Learning all about Barry Larkin today.

He doesn't love Barry Larkin.

Oh, wait.

Barry Larkin was great.

Yeah, Dylan Larkin.

Mickey Hatcher at first can't handle Jeff Hamilton's throw.

Barry Larkin scores.

Tim Belcher pitched a three-hitter and lost.

Here's the finale.

The checklist, we have a list of vets, legends, and rookies.

Bobby Witt Jr., Chase Burns, Corbin Carroll, Barry Larkin, Carson Williams, Don Mattingly, Frank Thomas, George Witt, George Brett, Conor Griffin, Matt Olson, Nick Kurtz, Paul Skeens, Roman Anthony, Basayo, Sammy Koufax.

So a nice checklist, you know, across the board, you're going to see this checklist looking pretty decent.

It's going to have a lot of okay hits, some amazing hits, but yeah, a lot of just okay guys that you see across products, just legends that they use all over the place.

This is 78 cards, and it's a pretty deep checklist of guys.

Noah Otani, I'm looking for that right away.

We have Adrian Beltran, Andre Dawson, Adrian Gonzalez with the Padres, Andy Pettit, Pujols, Anthony Rizzo with the Cubs, Barry Larkin, Carlos Beltran with the Mets, Chipper Jones, Cal Ripken, Dwight Gooden, Derek Jeter, Don Mattingly, Dale Murphy, David Wright, Edgar Martinez, Felix Hernandez, Frank Thomas, Harold Baines, Johnny Damon, Johnny Bench, Jorge Posada, Jose Reyes, Jim Tomey, Mark McGuire, Mariano, Nomar, Ozzie Smith, Rod Carew, Paul O'Neill, Ryan Howard, Roger Clements, Brandon Johnson with the D-backs, Robin Yutt, Sammy Sosa, Tom Glavin, that is with the Braves this one.

I think he was on the Mets in another part of the checklist.
