But wow, folks, I've got to shout out the reporting from Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, who is just doing a sensational job.

I think he was the first to report Miami going back to Nike this July at the end of their 12-year Adidas deal.

And he explains how that deal took place.

They don't get the guaranteed revenue that teams in the Big Ten and the SEC make.

You compensate for that by doing amazing business like Miami just did.

And how this happened is pretty amazing, okay? So, according to Barry Jackson, again, great reporting in the Miami Herald.

You know, some time ago, probably months ago, former athletic director Dan Radakovich, who retired in June – He had recommended to President Joe Echevarria, University of Miami president, that Miami sign an extension with Adidas that had been offered earlier this year.

Nike is upgrading that.

And according to Barry Jackson, the Herald, about two thirds of that 20 million annual payment will be in cash.

rest will be in apparel.

Uh, Adidas had a, had a right to match the offer.

So that's why you had this huge number on the deal.

You do have a big Adidas deal with Penn State, which was 10 years.

There's a report it's 10 years, 300 million, although industry insiders, according to Barry Jackson, dispute it.

Ohio State has a 15-year, $252 million contract with Nike through 2033.

But folks, this news just broke this morning.

And shout out to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, who's really good at what he does.

So you see there the follow-up report, the new deal that Miami is signing with Nike.

is valued at more than $13 million annually, more than what Adidas is paying Miami at the end of this 12-year deal that expires next June.
